Paddle Raiser

This year we will be doing a Live Auction "Paddle Raiser" to raise funds for classrooms that do not have Sound Fields currently installed. We are excited to support the teachers in this innovative technology, so get ready to lift your paddles high! With a goal of raising $8000, we are hopeful that all classes can soon have this important amplification system installed. Sound Fields are proven to promote better learning and listening, and can be used both by the teachers and by the students when giving presentations and leading discussions. Together we can raise the funds needed so that all Bates students can have access to Sound Fields in all Bates classrooms.

By raising your paddle during the "Paddle Raiser" portion of the live auction you pledge to support the school for the amount of the specified "Paddle Raiser". Unless otherwise noted, payments will be charged to the credit card on file at the end of the auction. All proceeds from the "Paddle Raiser" will go directly to supporting the installation of Sound Fields in our classrooms. Thank you in advance for your support!

Principal for a Day (K-2)

Is your child ready to Rule the School? Get ready to bid on behalf of your Kindergartener, First or Second grader for this unique opportunity to shadow Principal Jolley for a day. Activities include participating in morning announcements, helping with lunch duties and being the "King" or "Queen" of recess out on the playground.

Principal Jolley is also offering a Principal for the Day for the older grades 3-5. Let your child step into her shoes to see what it really takes to run the school. Not only with your child have fun being "The Boss" for a day, but he or she will also learn what it takes to run a large organization and valuable leadership skills throughout the day.
